Designer Discussion: Simplydresses.com and Promgirl.com

Dear Pennies,

Yesterday, I had the extreme pleasure of attending the press preview for Simplydresses.com and Promgirl.com. Both of these websites fall under the Promgirl LLC which began in 1998. Promgirl.com is known as the “The Online Prom Superstore”. Featuring a collection of over 40,000 dresses in 4,000 different styles Promgirl.com and Simplydresses.com are the websites to shop when looking for a beautiful dress for that special occasion. Prices range from $79 to $279 and with size 0 to 44 available, Promgirl and Simplydresses has “a size and shape for everyone.”

I must say that I fell in love with the dresses I saw at the press preview. They were very stunning and chic. The silhouettes were flattering to different types of figures and there is a great selection of color. I spoke to Louise, one of the designers behind Simplydresses and Promgirl who said that she is sometimes inspired by celebrities but most of her dresses are fashion driven. She said that she seeks to design dresses that make a woman look and feel good. She also stated that it’s all about proportions and using different trends mixed with classic silhouettes. Louise, definitely understands design and women because every dress was gorgeous!

Even, today my best friend and I spent an hour browsing the website. In essence, with no further adieu I give a special presentation video of the pictures from the Simplydresses and Promgirl press preview.
