Tuesday’s Stylish Thoughts: Jennifer Lopez

Dear Pennies and Pens,

For this week’s, Tuesday’s Stylish Thoughts we have our first Latina feature with the fabulous, Jennifer Lopez. Jennifer Lopez is like one of those amazing superwomen who does it all. Her main titles include actress, singer, dancer, and most recently American Idol judge. In essence, Jennifer Lopez stays in the public eye and she always looks stylish.

Jennifer’s style has become very minimal yet chic as she’s no longer wearing the controversial outfits she rocked in the late 90s early 2000s. Specifically, the green Versace dress that Jennifer wore to the Grammys in 2000 comes to mind when recalling J.Lo’s sexy ensembles. I guess becoming a mother made her tone it down. Anyway, I love Jennifer’s style because she’s always well put together and coordinated.

Additionally, she has a ridiculous shoe game. I remember salivating over the shoes she wore in her most recent film, “The Back-up Plan”. In most of the film, J.Lo appeared to be rocking Louboutins and Yves Saint Laurent which are two of most popular shoe designs out right now but somehow J.Lo seemed to show everyone the difference between a trend setter and follower when she wore the shoes.

J.Lo has also made some of the best romantic comedies in the past ten years. Her films, “Maid in Manhattan“, “The Back-up Plan“, and “The Wedding Planner” are all modern day classics and resemble movies of the past in that they have actual story lines and plots. Because of her style, films, and work ethic I have much respect for Jennifer Lopez. What do you think of Jennifer, Pennies? Do you like her style? Why or why not?

And there it is. The Fashion and Style of the Pen…de la Pen.
