Press Pen: Daisy Fuentes S/S 2012 Show Review

Dear Pennies & Pens,

It’s Pen here to report on the Daisy Fuentes Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Daisy Fuentes started her line in 2004 and being that she believes that fashion is for everyone, she has partnered exclusively with Kohl’s. In essence, Daisy is providing women with chic, affordable clothes.

This season’s show was held in downtown NYC at the Metropolitan Pavilion. The collection was inspired by the South of France and the floral paintings of Matisse. Therefore the collection, consisted of floral prints, colorblocking, soft textures, and bold solids. The fabrics used were silk, sateen, and jersey.

This was my first time covering Daisy’s show and I definitely enjoyed it. The styling reminded me of the 70s and I’d love to rock any of these ensembles while walking along South Beach and sipping a cocktail. The collection was fun & chic and best of all, it is affordable! Go Daisy go!

And there it is. The Fashion &  Style of the Pen…de la Pen.
