For this week’s Model Mondays, I wanted to feature Nyasha Matonhodze. Nyasha is a brand new model since she’s only been modeling since 2009 when she signed with Elite Models in Paris and Milan. However, Nyasha has been strutting down the runways of top designers for the past two seasons. Additionally, Nyasha just scored the Louis Vuitton ad campaign. In essence, Nyasha is definitely one to watch.

Nyasha was born in Zimbabwe and raised in the UK. In this interview The Truth About: Nyasha Matonhodze, Nyasha talks candidly about her family, modeling career, and the fashion industry. As the interviewer states, Nyasha is very mature for her age and she definitely has the strength to last in the competitive fashion industry.

Nyasha is a beautiful girl and being that she’s so young, she has so much room for growth. I love her eyes & lips as I think they are her stand out features. I first discovered Nyasha on one of my favorite blogs, The Fashion Bomb. I must admit, it’s awesome to see a young model of color doing so many amazing things so quickly. Nyasha has appeared in shows like Michael Kors, Lanvin, Yves Saint Laurent, and more. So make sure you stay tuned for more awesome work from Nyasha.
