Dear Pennies and Pens,

Hope all is well! My apologies for the ridiculous neglect. I have been ridiculously busy with The Network. Honestly, The Network has become my main focus. But don’t worry, de la Pen is definitely a major component of The Network. This means that I will continue blogging in 2012 and I’m already thinking of how I can expand and grow the site. However, I must let you know that sporadic posting will continue. I’m going to try and lock in an official schedule in January so I’ll keep you posted on that.

Pen and Cacha` Preparing Take Over NYC

As I mentioned, my company The Network is my main focus and we’ve experienced tremendous growth this year. My business partner @CachaLopez and I co-founded The Network in October of 2010.  Our first year was interesting, crazy, hectic, dramatic, busy, and fun all at the same time. We learned a lot, fought & compromised, gained clients, lost clients, networked, made new contacts and reunited with old ones. We also completely revamped our business.

Cacha` and Pen -- Fashion's Night Out 2011

When we first started The Network we were simply Pen Productions and Cacha` Management. We’ve now expanded to include Pen PR. In essence, The Network is a creative agency that represents emerging ethnic artists. We provide our clients with management, branding, public relations, and digital & social media marketing services. Currently, we work with models, stylists, make-up artists, and musicians. We’re based in New York/Baltimore/DC and we have clients in all these areas as well as New Orleans, LA.

de la Pen relates to The Network because it falls under Pen Productions. Pen Productions is an online media publishing and production company; in essence, it is the publisher of de la Pen. I plan to grow Pen Productions more in 2012 by expanding de la Pen as well as delving into other media/entertainment projects. Overall, I have major plans for The Network and de la Pen so please make sure you keep reading. Love ya, Pennies & Pens! Have a Happy New Year!

And there it is. The Fashion & Style of the Pen…de la Pen.
