Fusion of Style: The Best Asian Fashion Bloggers

Dear Pennies & Pens,

If you follow me on Twitter, you may remember me talking about how I used Quantcast to find out who my demographics are. I discovered that most of my Pennies & Pens are Asian, Hispanic, and African American. That was awesome news because I’ve always been dedicated to creating an international and multicultural online magazine. So that means my content has been appealing to my audience which is amazing!

Since the majority of my audience is Asian, I decided to create a series that focuses on all the cool fashion coming from Asia. In essence, today, I present to you part one, Fusion of Style: The Best Asian Fashion Bloggers. This post features an eclectic mix of bloggers each of whom has some amazing style with the blog to match. I compiled this post based on a list from Art Becomes You (which is a fabulous blog, you must read) called Top 40 Asian Style Bloggers. Without further adieu, I present to you, Fusion of Style: The Best Asian Fashion Bloggers

  •  Tricia Will Go Places – I love this blog! Such simple words but it really expresses how I feel about it. Tricia Gosingtian is a Fashion Blogger based in Manila, Philippines. Her style is so chic and fresh! It’s truly inspiring. I had pretty much given up on style bloggers but Tricia gives me hope. Tricia’s style is refreshing and she doesn’t look like she’s trying too hard or posting outfits just because. I should also mention that she takes her own photos (*blank stare cause idk how she does it*). Please check out her site here: Tricia Will Go Places.

  • Brown Platform – This is a really cool style blog by Anastasia Siantar who is based in Paris. Once you visit her blog, you’ll definitely want to dress like her and the only way to achieve that is to raid her closet. Anastasia is both unique and interesting. I like her photos because she chooses backgrounds that match well with her looks. Be sure to check her out here: Brown Platform.

  • Thirstythought – This is a lovely blog by Kryz Uy. Kryz is based in the Philippines and her blog features some really cool photography. Kryz’s blog has amazing personality and it really stands out from the rest. I adore her style and her coverage of events. There’s a cool Guess event up on her site now and the photos truly give you a glimpse into the event. Check it out here: Thirstythought

  • Camille Tries To Blog – Camille is a fashion designer, sometimes a model, and occasionally a stylist. The funny thing about Camille is that when she started her blog in 2011, she just wanted to give it a try. I guess that’s where the blog’s title comes from. However, Camille is doing much more than trying to blog. Her blog is definitely established and she’s doing her thang! I love Camille’s cool style and beautiful photos. Oh and she has her own app! Does it get any better?! Check her out here: Camille Tries To Blog

  • Fuss – Fashion | Unzipped| Street Style. That’s what Fuss stands for. What a fabulous title for a blog! Fuss was created by Rhea Gupte. Rhea was raised in Mumbai but now lives in Goa. For those that don’t know, both Mumbai and Goa are located in India. Rhea features original editorials and some seriously fierce style. There’s an editorial that she did on using Indian fashion as inspiration (Indian Odyssey) and it is just fabulous! Please check her out here: Fuss

  • KTR Style – When I saw the photo of KT from below, I almost DIED. I mean, I have never seen such amazing style in all my life. My heart almost stopped. KT is more girly than me but she still makes me want to dress like her. And I am the tomboy of all tomboys! Friends that have known me since middle school can count the number of times they’ve seen me in a dress on one hand. LOL! Anyway, KT has some amazing photos and her style is even better. She also owns KTR Collection which is an amazing online boutique. You can shop KT’s amazing looks there. Please check her out here: KTR Style.

  • The Chriselle Factor – Chriselle started off as a Wardrobe Stylist and now she mostly does style blogging and maintains a YouTube channel. With a massive YouTube and social media following, she is one of the most influential tastemakers online. But it’s not Chriselle’s numbers that caught my eye but her fashion sense. It’s eclectic, cool, and daring. Take this Seeing Stars editorial, the dress Chriselle wears is very unique and she totally pulls it off! Check her out here: The Chriselle Factor

  • Nini Style – Last but certainly not least is Nini Nguyen of Nini Style. Nini’s style is so hot that if you try to touch it, it’ll burn you. Nini is probably my favorite of this list just because in her most recent editorials, she makes being pregnant look chic. I don’t know if you read that correctly, so let me type it again, she makes being pregnant look fun and cool. Don’t get me wrong my friends that are mothers tell me that being pregnant is beautiful and interesting but Nini’s photos make me actually want to experience pregnancy. And lord knows that is a first. LOL! Anyway, Nini plays with all sorts of different looks and serves up plenty of style inspiration. You should definitely check her out here: Nini Style
