Pen.Point: The Seasoned Traveler…Dream Midtown NYC

This post contains a Press Sample

Dear Pennies & Pens,

As you all hopefully know, I was in NYC last month for my event, Flavor’s Night Out. While in New York, I stayed at the Dream Midtown NYC.

It’s funny because I lived in NYC for five years before relocating to Texas but this was my first time staying at a hotel in New York. That said, I really did not know what to expect. I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised by the Dream Midtown NYC.

My room was small but cozy and the design was super fabulous! I loved the decor of the room, it was modern and chic. The only thing I didn’t like/understand was the shower. The shower only has half a door…I thought this was a mistake and inquired about it when checking out. The staff informed me that this was a part of the design.

I promptly laughed at myself because I honestly thought something was wrong with the shower. My fabulous business partner Cacha` knew that it was a part of the design and loved it. My favorite part of the room was the bed. It was so comfortable! After a long day of driving up from Baltimore with Cacha and her family plus having hosted an event, it was nice to have comfy bed to sleep in.

As it states on the website, “Dream Midtown NYC has newly redesigned interiors, including 221 luxurious accommodations with sprightly pops of violet only steps from surrealistic on-site dining. Like New York City itself, Dream is a destination that might even warrant a little misbehavior – but that’s up to you. And don’t worry, we’ll never tell. (We usually just look the other way).”

Be sure to check out the hotel here: Dream Midtown NYC.
