Dear Pennies & Pens,
It’s ya girl, LoudPen.
I’m a music and culture storyteller, content creator, creative strategist, and Founder of ISLP, THE INKSPOT, LLC — a creative production company rooted in independent publishing, fan culture, and intentional creative ownership.
I launched ISLP in 2015 when I self-published my first book, #MakeUrPenLOUD: How To Be A Lifestyle Blogger. At the time, I didn’t have a blueprint — just a deep desire for creative control and a commitment to telling stories on my own terms. That decision shaped everything that followed.
Since then, my work has expanded across editorial writing, video storytelling, live event coverage, and fan-driven experiences. I published my second book, The Loudest Pen Ever, in 2019, exploring identity, relationships, pop culture, and the realities of building something from scratch as a Black millennial woman.
In 2020, I paused, recalibrated, and rebuilt with intention. That reset led to the growth of All Pen Everything, the launch of The Penny Black YouTube Channel, and a deeper focus on music-centered storytelling — particularly within global K-Pop and R&B fandoms. During this period, I also launched Pennies & Pens, a vegan fashion and lifestyle brand created to simplify style by providing everyday closet staples, extending the ISLP brand beyond digital storytelling.
Today, my work centers on documenting concerts, international fan experiences, and cultural moments through a lens that blends authenticity, editorial insight, and audience connection. I’ve traveled to shows across the U.S. and Asia, hosted fan events in Dallas reaching hundreds of attendees, and collaborated on sponsored content that balances brand goals with genuine fan perspective.
At my core, I translate fandom experiences into stories blended with strategy. I believe culture is built by the people who show up — and I use my pen, my camera, and my voice to document that energy in real time.
I’m LoudPen.
And my work is meant to be heard.
Peace & Blessings,
Penny
