Pen.Sport: Are my Bengals making a Comeback?!

Yo Pennies & Pens –

So this past Sunday, my Bengals won again. This time, we beat the pants off the Kansas City Chiefs (28-6). No one really knows why the Kansas City Chiefs still play football. Goodness knows they should just retire the whole franchise. I think they’ve won two or three games which is extremely lame. I feel for their fans because my Bengals struggle with consistency as well.

Regardless of the Chiefs whackness, the Bengals did play well. Andy Dalton had 230 passing yards, AJ Green had six catches for 91 yards, and BenJarvis Green-Ellis had 101 yards and a TD. Mohammed Sanu also had an impressive touchdown although he is still struggling to make big plays. Check out this post for more insight: Mohamed Sanu has been decent as the #2 in Cincy.

Cincinnati Bengals v Kansas City Chiefs

The biggest thing, I’d like to mention is that AJ Green is currently leading the NFL receivers with 10 touchdown receptions. That makes me feel oh so fancy. The Bengals new life could mean a post season appearance. And according to my NFL app, this is only the 2nd time in franchise history the Bengals would’ve had two post season appearances two years in a row.

In fact, the Bengals are actually getting some love in the NFL/Sports blogosphere. The Players View blog has the Bengals ranked at #12 for Week 12, see it here. Also Football Nation did an excellent pre-game analysis of the Bengals upcoming game against the Raiders. It’ll be interesting to play our former QB who’s leading a struggling team. Check that here: Oakland Raiders at Cincinnati Bengals: Three Bold Predictions.

Bengals — WHO-DEY

I really hope my Bengals will continue to do me proud. We all know they’re not going all the way but let’s at least end the season being able to hold our heads up high. WHO-DEY!!
