Dear Pennies & Pens,
Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting the Sleep Studio press preview. Sleep Studio is an innovative lifestyle brand that offers a variety of products and services that promote better sleep. In fact, President and CEO, Michael Rothbard says, “By offering a single destination for a comprehensive assortment of products and advice designed to promote better sleep, we are giving people the ability to discover for themselves how restful sleep leads to a fuller, healthier and more energized life.”
Sleep Studio reinforces the idea that the sleep cycle is an integral part of everyday. Therefore, Sleep Studio has created products specifically for the body’s daily rhythms throughout a 24-hour period. Each product is carefully categorized within one of the brand’s four Circadian Collections and is available exclusively through www.sleepstudio.com. Sleep Studio will also be opening a store in SoHo, NYC at 73 Wooster Street in February 2013.
Currently, the Circadian Collection includes AWAKEN which helps transitions your body from dreaming to daytime and creates a renewed sense of vitality; the REFRESH collection understands the body’s natural rhythms and the ebb and flow of energy that you experience throughout the day; the RELAX Collection helps create the personal space and time your body needs to slow down naturally; and finally, the DREAM collection focuses on cultivating a full night’s sleep that is rich, satisfying and peaceful.
While at the press preview, I met members of the Sleep Studio team as well as Dr. Rubin Naiman, who is a leading author, sleep therapist and expert in the fundamental science and nature of sleep. Dr. Naiman worked with Sleep Studio to develop Circadian Collections. It was very refreshing to learn about products associated with sleep and relaxation being that I previously focused on fashion. However, now that I’m working on expanding de la Pen, I’ll be featuring more brands like Sleep Studio. Not to mention, more music, sports, art, and film. Stay tuned!
