Dear Pennies & Pens,
As you all may remember, a few months ago, I announced that I would be launching Pennies & Pens, a vegan, organic and sustainable lifestyle brand. I am pleased to say that I now have a launch date. Pennies & Pens will be launching on Monday, November 23, 2020 and prior to the official launch of Pennies & Pens, I’ll be hosting a pre-sale.
Pennies & Pens is a vegan, organic and sustainable lifestyle brand created to inspire and empower multicultural millennials to ink the life they’ve always wanted. Our collections include ready to wear, loungewear, sleepwear, lingerie, wedding attire, handbags, shoes and jewelry. Our Fall/Winter 2020 collection will include a line of T-shirts.
We are launching with a collection of T-shirts because it is a classic wardrobe staple that fits a variety of different body types. The fact is, multicultural millennials are not one size fits all. Within this group, you can find petite, hourglass, thick, big & tall, plus size and everything in between. That said, we knew a T-shirt was the best product to launch with because it looks good on all body types.
Our pieces are created from organic and recycled fabrics because we are committed to creating sustainable fashion. We want to create original pieces but we don’t want to cause any additional harm to the environment. Also, since our founder is Vegan, it would be weird if we created pieces that weren’t. Additionally, we use recycled and sustainable materials for our packaging and marketing materials.
I originally created Pennies & Pens over 10 years ago when I started de la Pen…All Pen Everything. At the time, I wanted a name for my readers that was on brand and original. I also wanted to create my own community of creatives and multicultural people.
Over the years, it has become so much more. Pennies & Pens is now it’s own brand and I cannot wait to share the full collection with you! It’s been insane designing the collection, marketing materials as well as the packaging. I did everything myself so to say I’ve been swamped is an understatement.
Pennies & Pens was inked by ISLP. ISLP, The InkSpot, LLC is a creative production company and multicultural creative agency based in Dallas. We create our own original products such as books, magazines and travel guides.
Additionally, we offer branding, marketing, public relations, event planning, styling, makeup, photography and more. ISLP, The InkSpot, LLC will be relaunching on Monday, November 23, 2020 along with Pennies & Pens.
