Dear Pennies & Pens,
I am so excited to announce ISLPās official 1 year anniversary! I established ISLP as an LLC (Limited Liability Company) on June 26, 2020. Even though I originally launched ISLP in April of 2015, we celebrate the June 26th date since it marks the date we became official on paper.
In the past year, we launched two new products including our collection of organic cotton T-shirts Pennies and Pens as well as The Pen Planner, a blog & social media workbook.
Previously, we published #MakeUrPenLoud: How To Be A Lifestyle Blogger – a book that teaches you how to create content for a lifestyle blog and work with brands. We also published The Loudest Pen Ever – a collection of original stories and poems by our CEO LoudPen.
Furthermore, we produced two travel guides Cruising Thru Cali and Chillin in Chi Town. We also publish this multicultural lifestyle magazine, de la Pen…All Pen Everything.Ā
As you can see, ISLP has done so much! It’s been an amazing 6 years, it is only because the Most High that we’re still here.
As a Black + woman owned business, we face constant racism and sexism in addition to dealing with daily business operations and any issues that may come up.
But we’re still here.
