Dear Pennies & Pens,
I am so hyped to show at Austin Fashion Week this weekend! However, as I started preparing to show the Pennies & Pens collection on the runway, I realized that there are hair stylists, makeup artists, and fashion stylists who may not know what they need to do to prepare for Fashion Week.
I wanted to create that content because hair stylists, makeup artists, and fashion stylists are crucial to the success of Fashion Week. If the creative team isn’t on point, designers like me can’t showcase our pieces or will have to make last minute changes. Therefore, I wanted to create content to ensure this does not happen.
In the video below, I offer advice on how to prepare for Fashion Week as a hairstylist, makeup artist, and fashion stylist. It includes everything you need to be a hairstylist, makeup artist and fashion stylist at Fashion Week. I started off in the industry 14 years ago as a Blogger covering New York Fashion Week. Now I’m officially a designer with my own brand.
