This year, I am starting a new Christmas tradition where I document what I do as a single Black female (addicted to retail) during the holiday season.
I am creating this series because I want to dispel myths and negative narratives about single people. It’ll also be my space to vent because sometimes being single sucks.
What I’ll feature in A Single Penny Christmas Vlogs
Over the next month, I’ll be posting different vlogs that document how I spent the Christmas holidays. Right now, I’m still in Dallas but I’ll be going home to Cincinnati and Georgia for two weeks to celebrate with my family.
I have a fun holiday season planned. Over the past couple weeks, I bought Christmas gifts for my family and myself online at various black owned businesses, independent businesses, and K Pop retailers. So in the future, I’ll be doing an unwrapping and unboxing in a future vlog.
Decorating My Christmas Tree
In the vlog below, I decorate my Christmas tree for A Single Penny Christmas. You’ll see me purchasing ornaments and lights to decorate the tree, preparing to decorate the tree, and the finished product of the decorated tree.
It’s a fun vlog and a perfect continuation of A Single Penny Christmas. I am so excited to continue sharing vlogs from A Single Penny Christmas. It’s going to be a dope holiday season!
