In this post, K Penny: LAY STEP Album Review, I share my thoughts on LAY ZHANG’s album STEP.
Originally released on June 14, 2024, STEP is LAY ZHANG’s first full length English album. LAY is The King of Mando Pop known for his lyricism and beautiful vocals. He’s a truly original artist and there is no one quite like LAY.
LAY is taking to China to the world. He is such an influential artist. LAY has single handedly ignited an interest in Chinese culture when previously there has been such a disconnect between eastern and western culture.
As it states in the STEP album bio, “With an insatiable hunger to bridge EAST and WEST, LAY channels the power of music and dance to break cultural barriers, uniting hearts and minds across continents.”
