In this post, I will share all of my PennyTravels: LOUD in Hong Kong vlogs. During the vlogs, I share scenes from my trip to Hong Kong, China. This was my first time in Hong Kong.

Why I went to Hong Kong, China

The main purpose of my trip was to see KAI – one of my all time favorite K-POP artists. KAI’s concert gave me the perfect excuse to finally visit China.

I never thought I’d be the type of K-POP fan to fly halfway around the world for a concert. I just always thought it was best to go to local shows. However, I didn’t think KAI would ever do a US tour (which he did in fact do but that’s another story). So I thought going overseas to Asia was my best bet at seeing him.

I chose Hong Kong because the concert was on a Saturday plus I got paid that week. Also, it was less than a month before my birthday, so I figured I would start celebrating early. And so, off to Hong Kong I went.

A Penny for Your Thoughts: My trip to Hong Kong

My trip was absolutely fabulous!!! I had the best time in Hong Kong. I landed during the middle of a typhoon and experienced the worst type of Hong Kong weather and yet I survived.

I also ate delicious food, went to the beach and rode the Star Ferry. And most importantly, I saw KAI in Hong Kong, China. What an unforgettable experience! I am so blessed!
