  • Pen’s Eye: Interview with Nobody – In this post, I interview Dallas based artist Nobody. He’s a talented painter who I met at Dallas Artopia. I love his work because it features pop culture in a cool and artistic way.

Vakseen is a dope artist whose work is themed around female identity and society’s idolization of beauty, specifically the enhancements that women endure to obtain this level of  “perfection” and the impact it has on our society.

  • It’s 8515 Bitches: BlogLoud – This post talks about a new event I’m working on called BlogLoud. 8515  is producing BlogLoud and the inaugural event will be held in Dallas, Texas in early 2016. Having said all that, I am relieved that 2015 is coming to an end! It’s been a crazy year with all the work and projects that I have had going on. I’m thankful for each and every opportunity because each project is a learning experience.

As we move into 2016, the wheels in my head are spinning nonstop with new ideas for posts and projects. Renee and I have already created the editorial calendar for 2016 so stay tuned to see what we have in store!

And there it is. de la Pen…All Pen Everything. With us, keeping it real never goes wrong.
